Our lands were built on the foundations of war--forts were erected in fear of it, entire forests were destroyed because of it... her influence embraces us every waking moment of our lives, as if an old friend we can never completely escape. Our ancestors fought in war, and our children shall continue to do the same, but if you had the power to stop the inevitable tide from coming, would you do it? Could you do it? We've all become too accustomed to war and the horrors it brings, with no respite offered by the beloved gods. I fear, even if you wanted to, you couldn't armour yourself against war for long. Our humanity is truly lost, never to return.
